Spring has hit in Australia and the temperature is already rising. Soon enough it’s going to be so damn hot that my stockings be filed away in the bottom of my underwear drawer, only to reappear on overcast days. Unfortunately during the hotter months, I get really bad inner-thigh chafing. It hurts so much that I struggle to walk sometimes. A lot of the time I just wish I could have the welts of stockings around the top of my thighs to prevent the skin on the inside of my thighs from touching and rubbing. And this is exactly how my Queen sized anti-chafing bands came about!
These bands are now available in sizes M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL. Below is the size chart, please note that if you are between sizes I would recommend sizing up. Measure around the part of your leg where chafing is most likely to occur.
M – 55-60 cm / 22-24 inches
L – 60-65 cm / 24-26 inches
XL – 65-70 cm / 26-28 inches
2XL – 70-75 cm / 28-30 inches
3XL – 75-80 cm / 30-32 inches
4XL – 80-85 cm / 32-34 inches
The bands are held up by two bands of silicone. If you’re allergic to silicone, I wouldn’t recommend these bands.
I usually get inner-thigh chafing when I’m already out of the house and don’t have have access to a spare clothes to change into. I always wish I just had something in my handbag that I could use to protect my legs from touching each other. This is why I put my anti-chafing bands in discreet little satin bags, so they can be popped into your handbag for when they are needed.
